Preston and Pipa, brother and sister, are lion dogs from Palluel (Pas-de-Calais). They were elected world champions and their grooming is a real passion for Hélène-Marie Birembaut, groomer and breeder.
Only two and a half years old, Pipa is already a world star, a beauty queen. This lion-female dog endures several hours of care in Palluel (Pas-de-Calais). From the age of six weeks, she was used to going to the groom. “It is very important because a judge in competition must be able to handle the dog”, says Hélène-Marie Birembaut, groomer and breeder of small lion dogs.
Preston, Pipa’s brother, is also used to all this care. “They are both world champions in terms of their morphology, teeth, their character…”, lists Hélène-Marie Birembaut. The first medal dates from 1999 for his former dog and since then they have been accumulating. His next challenge turns out to be the European Championships in Budapest (Hungary) for the dogs and for their masters, the competition for the best worker in France 2022 in grooming.
