The employees of ADPAM, a personal services association created in 1956, have been confronted with the difficulties experienced by the elderly since the start of the pandemic. “They are anxious at the idea of falling ill, and isolated, which reinforces their anxiety, we feel a real fed up,” said Eric Koza, one of the managers of the meal service. The association would like to point out that it continues to support people during the health crisis, especially those having difficulty getting around. “If you are alone at home, we can help you, with existing solutions. We have a delivery service for meals at lunchtime or at noon and in the evening, as well as an accompaniment service on demand. is very useful for appointments concerning vaccination. The 400 employees are all vaccinated and equipped with protective equipment. ” ADPAM also offers free workshops for people over 60 living in Toulouse and the surrounding area.
Like many associations, ADPAM is facing recruitment difficulties despite salary increases requested in October. Applications are therefore welcome (experience or diplomas).
The delivery of meals at home costs 9.50 euros (lunch) or 16 euros (lunch and dinner option). “The pension funds, the departmental council or mutuals can take care of them, we put together the files with the various organizations. A tax deduction of 2 euros per meal is also applicable.”
