Slutsky: Russia may raise the issue of nationalism in Ukraine at the sessions of the PACE and the OSCE PA
The Russian delegation may raise the issue of the inadmissibility of encouraging nationalism in Ukraine not at the first sessions of the Parliamentary Assemblies of the Council of Europe and the OSCE in 2022. About this creator of the State Duma system for the international community Leonid Slutsky in his Telegram channel.
An annual torchlight procession took place in Kiev on January 1 in honor of the 113th anniversary of the birth of the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera. It is reported that the rally was attended by several hundred people. In this regard, the Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin said that what is happening in Ukraine should be condemned by the European Parliament, PACE and the OSCE PA. In his opinion, for the promotion of nationalism it is necessary to ask its leadership, impose sanctions and do everything to prevent its revival in Europe.
“The Chairman of the State Duma is absolutely right when he speaks of the inadmissibility of promoting nationalism and its revival in Europe. The Russian delegation intends to raise the issue at all inter-parliamentary platforms, primarily in the PACE and the OSCE PA. And I do not exclude that in the very near future – at the first sessions of the assemblies in the coming 2022, ”Slutsky presented.
He also agrees that the collective West continues to sponsor the anti-Russia project in Ukraine.
“For many years, followers of Bandera have been marching in the center of Kiev, glorifying the bloody executioner and Nazi accomplice. For a year, the European authorities have left this “event” without a reaction, ”the parliamentarian added.

He also wondered how “at the European level, the authorization of Nazi criminals.” This should be asked from those who consistently falsify the history of World War II, trying to downgrade the role of the Soviet council over fascism and demonize modern Russia, Slutsky said.
Earlier Russia, Vladimir Putin, during the annual big press conference, said that Russia is ready to build good-neighborly relations with Ukraine, but with the current leadership in Kiev it is practically impossible.
