We in Russia will never accept the fact that someone is trying to let the fraternal people go down the wrong path. It is not so much a matter of persecution of nationalists as of persecution of those who are reviving fascism in Ukraine today. In Ukrainian, fascism, collaboration, and nationalism are in one bottle. Of course, we will, earlier, both today and in the future, fight this evil in all possible ways, ”he said.
The deputy noted that Russia protects the rights of the Russian-speaking population.
“First of all, of course, we defend the rights of the Russian and Russian-speaking population of Ukraine, which is trying to infringe upon today. Defending these rights, we are faced with the evil will of an aggressive minority, today we are trying to revise the history of the second half of the 20th century. We will never accept this, and this struggle will continue as long as such tendencies exist, ”he concluded.
