News blog about the TSV 1860 training camp in Belek: Türkgücü will also travel to Belek on Sunday
Munich / Belek – Merhaba Belek! TSV 1860 started its training camp on the Turkish Riviera on Sunday. There, coach Michael Köllner’s team is preparing for the second half of the season until Saturday (January 8th). In addition to the training units, there will also be a test match against second division Hansa Rostock.

+++ Türkgücü also travels to Belek on Sunday +++
In addition to TSV 1860, Türkgücü is also leaving for the training camp in Belek tomorrow. However, the city rival will stay three days longer on the Turkish Riviera. The third division competitor of the Löwen will not return to Munich until January 11th. In Belek, the team of new coach Andreas Heraf will play test matches against a Turkish and a Romanian selection.
On January 22nd there is a city duel between Türkgücü and 1860 in the 3rd division.

+++ “Risks increased significantly”: Schalke cancels training camp +++
TSV 1860 is not the only club that travels to the training camp in Belek. The second division clubs FC Hansa Rostock and FC Schalke 04 have or had planned a few days in Turkey.
Because at least the Schalke guys have officially canceled their trip! “In the past few days, however, we have noticed that the risks of the trip HAVE increased significantly and exceed the possible benefits. We have to live up to our responsibility towards all employees,” said sports director Rouven Schröder in a press release. Now the team in Gelsenkirchen is preparing for the second half of the season.
TSV 1860 and Rostock are still planning a trip to Belek – both teams are doing a test match against each other in Turkey.
