Korona, Agder | 6 local cases of infection in the last 24 hours, 2,907 cases in Norway
In the last 24 hours, 2,907 corona infections have been registered in Norway. That is 693 fewer than the same day last week, according to NTB.
In the last seven days, an average of 3,174 corona infections have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 3,416, so the trend is declining.
On Sunday, 314 corona patients were hospitalized. There were 19 more than the day before.
107 of the patients are in the intensive care unit, and among them 74 are on a respirator. There are just as many on intensive care and four fewer on respirator compared with the day before, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.
At midnight on Monday night, NOK 9.2 million had been spent in the country since February last year. A total of 396,560 people tested positive.
To date, 4,282,767 people have received the first dose of the coronary vaccine, 3,918,456 people have received the second and 1,528,278 have received the third dose.
A total of 1,305 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. If patients have died of or with covid-19, it is not always possible to strike quickly.
58.9 percent of all deaths are 80 years old. In the age group under 50, 29 deaths have been reported in Norway.
Agder has a flat infection curve and recorded 146 cases of infection, according to VG’s corona statistics.
