The mobilization against the government’s health policy resumed very discreetly, in Toulouse in 2022. A crowd of people marched on the boulevards in Toulouse, between Jean-Jaurès and Arnaud-Bernard, this Saturday 1^uh January.

The demonstration was flanked by bikers from the national police in the lead, and a vehicle in the tail of the procession. The prefect of Haute-Garonne had again prohibited access to the hypercentre to demonstrators, nevertheless tolerated on the boulevards.

Sanitary passes have been appearing since the summer of 2021, every Saturday in Toulouse.

Anne-Marie, nurse and suspended because she is not vaccinated

This is particularly the case of Anne-Marie, 65, a nurse at the Children’s Hospital, and suspended since October 2021, for not having agreed to be vaccinated. In June 2021, she had yet decided to extend a year in the hospital, when she could have retired at full rate.

” L’love of children, ”she smiles. But when she learned, during the summer, that she would have to be vaccinated to work, she fell from a height. “I cried about it,” she says. She then decides to backtrack, and to assert her pension rights. But his employer refuses.

“3rd dose, 4th dose, my colleagues can’t take it anymore”

She had to work 6 more months, that is until February 2022. In October, after having blocked her leave, she was suspended for lack of vaccination. “Since then, I have no more salary.”

In hospitals, explains Anne-Marie, the staff haemorrhage is only at the “beginning”. “Third dose, fourth dose, my former colleagues regarding the exit gate. They can’t take it anymore. It is for me, and for them that I am demonstrating today ”.

Roberto: “It’s a false number, they tell us anything to sell the vaccine doses”

Roberto, an Italian who has been living in Toulouse for 10 years, a driver and in contact with children, was also “obliged” to be vaccinated, “to continue working”.

But this father of a 9-year-old boy is convinced of this, this repeated vaccination is there so that the labs “continue to fill their pockets”. “This vaccine does not protect anyway”, asserts Roberto.

There are 80% of unvaccinated people or having an incomplete vaccination schedule in intensive care, according to the latest figures from the French Society of Anesthesia and Resuscitation, out of 896 patients on mechanical ventilation in 165 departments throughout France ? “It’s a false figure, we are told anything to sell the vaccine doses”, answers Roberto, convinced of being the victim of a “conspiracy” on “European and world scale”.
