The pandemic marked the celebrations not only in the Czech Republic. Like in Prague, they will not fire fireworks this year, for example in Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, Paris or Rome.
There will also be no video mapping for the New Year celebration in the capital, ie a screening of the building that Prague held for the first time on 1 January 2020 instead of fireworks.
