Portugal announces squad list | EURO Futsal
This Thursday, national futsal coach Jorge Braz announced a list of Portugal’s squad for UEFA Futsal EURO 2022, to be played in the Netherlands between 19 January and 6 February, in Amsterdam and Groningen.
In addition to the absence of Ricardinho, who said goodbye to the national team last November, the main highlight goes to Cardinal’s return to the chosen team, after the Sporting CP star was left out of the 2021 World Cup , due to injury.
Real holder of the European champion they won in Slovenia in 2018 and also winner of the World Cup that took place in Lithuania, the Portuguese team begins preparation work for the final phase of Futsal EURO on January 5, at the Pavilhão dos Leões de Porto Salvo . Between the 7th and 14th of January, Jorge Braz’s team will work in Rio Maior, having the results of two previous preparatory games for Northern Macedonia, on the 13th and 14th of January, at the Rio Maior Pavilion.
The trip to the Netherlands is scheduled for the 16th of January, and the first game in the Futsal Euro finals, against Serbia, will take place on the 19th, in Amsterdam.
