The leaders of the five countries, including the prime ministers of Russia, Mauritius, Nepal and Slovenia, and the president of Mozambique, will attend a lively summit in Gujarat from 10 to 12 January. A total of 26 countries will participate in the summit as “partner countries”, the most since the 2003 summit.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Mozambican President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa are among the leaders who will visit the summit amid growing covid cases in Gujarat. .
The 26 countries participating in the summit are Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Israel, Singapore, Sweden, South Korea, Denmark and Finland.
Among the global business tycoons and CEOs who will attend the summit are Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem (DP World), Didier Casimiro (Rosneft), Tony Fountain (Nyara Energy Limited), Toshihiro Suzuki (Suzuki Motor Corp), Vivek Lall (Global Atomics Global Corporation). ), Maeda Tadashi (Japan Bank for International Cooperation), Salil Gupte (Boeing India Pvt Ltd) and William L. Blair (Lockheed Martin India Pvt Ltd).
On the Indian side, the summit will feature Mukesh Ambani (RIL), Gautam Adani (Adani Group), KM Birla (Aditya Birla Group), Sunil Bharati Mittal (Bharati Enterprises), Ashok Hindu (Hindu Group), N. Chandrasekharan (Tata Group) and Harsh Goenka (RPG group).
