42 new corona cases on Thursday – Omicron infections rise – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – Within one day, 42 other people who die in Liechtenstein tested positive for the corona virus. This is evident from the statistics from the Office of Statistics. The number of confirmed Omicron cases has meanwhile increased by 16 more to 74.

Over the past seven days, an average of 36 new cases were reported each day. In the seven days before, there was an average of 43 new cases every day.
As can be seen from the statistics from the Office of Statistics, the cumulative number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is now 6018 laboratory-confirmed infections.
The Statistical Office did not provide information on the number of people who have already survived the infection, the deceased or the current hospitalized people on Friday – as is usual on public holidays and weekends.
The 7-day incidence per 100,000 population is 650 likes. The 7-day incidence corresponds to the 7-day average – the incidence is simply extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants for the purpose of international comparisons.
The projected 14-day incidence is 1426 cases. That means, in the last 14 days, 1,426 people extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants tested positive.
