Three Brussels minors jailed for vandalism on Christmas (Brussels)
During home visits and checks on Wednesday, the police were able to arrest three minor suspects. This was announced by the Brussels public prosecutor’s office on Thursday. The three are suspected of having attacked a police patrol in the Brussels municipality of Sint-Joost-ten-Node on Christmas. Police are not looking for two other youths.

A patrol of the Brussels North police zone was originally moved to the images of the Verbiststraat and the Vierdagenlaan on the night of December 25, around 10:30 PM. There, young people are said to have set a garbage can on fire and various vandalism.
When the police came by chance, group of individuals who were found with projectiles. The police then fled to Sint-Joostplein to call reinforcements.
When the reinforcements arrived, the police left the area to find the suspects, but they had disappeared. An investigation was opened and using footage from police between the ages of fifteen and seventeen. During home visits on Wednesday, suspects were made available to the Brussels public prosecutor.
