Grenoble, Mulhouse and Rouen close the year 2021 in style
For this last day of Ligue Magnus in 2021, only three out of six matches were played, the matches between Gap in Chamonix, Amiens in Anglet and Cergy-Pontoise in Bordeaux having been postponed for cases of Covid-19.
The good deal of the day goes to Grenoble, which consolidated its leadership position in front of its public of Polesud this Thursday evening, after their victory against the Red Devils (9-3). Faced with Briançon, the best attack in the Championship made the spectacle and did not let itself be destabilized to seek a last success in 2021. However, largely led in score (4-0) and in the game, Briançon noted a crazy comeback in three scoring goals in the space of four short minutes in the middle of the game. A hope of recovery which did not last very long for the Red Devils, penultimate in the standings at the end of this meeting.
Penultimate in the Magnus League at kick-off, Mulhouse is called to revive this Thursday evening, traveling to Nice (0-2) after a rather closed meeting. A success which allows the Scorpions of Mulhouse to move up one place in the standings, now tenth. As for Nice, still seventh, it’s the wrong operation, since the Eagles remain stuck in the second part of the table at the end of the year 2021.
For his part, Angers can be disappointed with his short defeat (0-1) when he received Rouen, despite his domination on the ice. With this setback against third in the Magnus League, the Dukes, dolphins of Grenoble are only seven points ahead of their evening opponent.
