PSKOV, December 30. / TASS /. The construction of the historical park “Russia is my history” in Pskov has been suspended due to an unscrupulous contractor. Metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhov Tikhon announced this on Thursday to the governor of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov.

On the sidelines of the V International Arctic Forum “Arctic – Dialogue Window” in the spring of 2021, Governor Mikhail Vedernikov announced the creation of a park on the site of the abandoned Electron stadium in Pskov with the participation of the Russian Orthodox Church.

“We have a problem with the historical park, the museum“ Russia is my history ”.

As Vedernikov specified, the head of the contracting organization was detained by law enforcement agencies and recently could not appear at the facility. The authorities intend to announce a new tender for the selection of a contractor in the near future.

“It so happened that he was no longer physically able to be present at the facility. [говорили, что] we will fulfill all obligations. We gave them a week, nothing happened in a week. I warned them that we would terminate contracts and enter them into the register of unscrupulous contractors. Maybe we will have time to announce a competition by the end of the year. We hope that it will take place in late January – early February. We hope that a normal contractor will come out. We have every chance to complete the construction readiness by the beginning of the summer, “the governor explained.

Historical parks “Russia – my history” – the largest exposition complex in the country. The geography of its sites stretches across the whole of Russia and shows 22 cities. The parks use the most modern forms of information media: touch tables, light boxes, collages, projectors and tablets. Visual innovative solutions for multimedia expositions using video infographics, animation, 3D modeling. In early March, Governor Mikhail Vedernikov told TASS that the historical park in the Pskov region is planned to be opened by the end of the year.
