Acceleration of procedures and projects for Thessaloniki
“I want people to be photographed in Aristotelous Square, in Eleftherias Square, in Dioikitiriou Square”, stressed the mayor of Thessaloniki.
The administration of the Municipality has a complete plan of important projects for radical upgrade of Thessaloniki and the quality of life of its citizens. This is emphasized, among others, by Mayor Konstantinos Zervas, during full-length interview granted to the Municipal Television TV100.
“What I ask from the Prime Minister is to speed up the procedures and projects,” he said. “It is extremely important that the city’s institutions go hand in hand for the good of the city,” he said.
“I want people to be photographed in Aristotelous Square, in Eleftherias Square, in Dioikitiriou Square”, Mr. Zervas stressed and, regarding Eleftherias Square, he added that the issue of creating a memory park was never raised and revealed that “If we do not have a good description for the underground parking, we will go to the construction of a memory park without parking.”
Referring to the infrastructure, Mr. Zervas stated that “maintenance of the old network of bicycle paths, aiming at a 25 km long network” is beginning, referring to the importance of Thessaloniki as a gastronomic capital of Unesco and stressed that “this year for the first time Thessaloniki will join the EOT campaigns “.
Finally, referring to the pandemic, the mayor of Thessaloniki stressed that “I do not like to make recommendations for the pandemic, but we must show patience, we are at the end.”
