Due to the evolution of the health situation, the LNR and Canal + have seen the The day after Christmas from Top 14 to be reduced like the skin of grief, with 4 out of 7 games postponed. And in particular the Classico Stade Toulousain – Stade Français, scheduled for Sunday December 26 in prime-time, including the decision of report was taken… the morning of the meeting.
In this regard, the head coach of Stade Français, Gonzalo Quesada, expressed himself on Twitter in order to clarify the situation and some truths (especially with “network commentators”).
A player tested positive on December 24
In addition to specifying that the Stade Français was only triggered on December 21 and 22 in order to prepare for this meeting of the 13e Top 14 day (3 days off granted on December 23, 24 and 25), Gonzalo Quesada posed the framework in which one of the players in his squad (whose identity remains confidential) has tested positive for Covid-19.
On Friday 24 a player was tested to spend the holidays with the family serenely. Positive result. Our doctor warned the league about this case. On Saturday 25 the league asked us to test the whole group the next day, before going to Toulouse. 2/5

From then on, the LNR was informed, and it demanded to pass a test to all the players of the Parisian workforce. Made on the morning of the 26th, these tests were found to be 4 positive.
SFP notified of match report at airport
The players who contracted Covid-19 then returned to their homes to isolate themselves. Meanwhile, Stade Français, with all negative players, performed a video session plus a team run before joining Orly airport to fly to Toulouse.
We left for Orly to take the plane to Toulouse. When we were checking in we were told that our game was canceled. That we shouldn’t go home, but that we should stay isolated until next Wednesday. 4/5

A whole week without training before playing
