Obertauern: Haslauer is said to have threatened bar operators with local quarantine
In an après-ski alpine pasture in Obertauern, things should have gotten so high about ten days ago that even the governor personally intervened: ORF Radio Salzburg reported on Wednesday in the morning news. Wilfried Haslauer has sent a personal appeal and a warning to the bar operator to adhere to the Corona regulations, in the worst case otherwise there is a risk of local quarantine for Obertauern.
The Corona rules for gastronomy are strong: In addition to the ban on bar operations and standing gastronomy, night gastronomy including après-ski is also taboo. According to the ORF report, however, the rules were broken so drastically at a celebration in an après-ski hut in Obertauern that other restaurateurs from the winter sports resort on the Tauern have notified the governor’s office. Details of the prehistory are not known, but accompanied by plenty of alcohol, a celebration at this hut should have gotten out of hand.
Haslauer is said to have notified the operator of the restaurant with an appeal and a warning. He warned the operator to be careful, everything was hanging by a thread. If the regulations are not adhered to, he sees himself forced to order stricter measures, Haslauer is said to have said in a telephone conversation. And: In the extreme case, a local quarantine would even have to be imposed on Obertauern.
