The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has approved the procedure for photographing and fingerprinting of foreign citizens who come to the country for a period of more than 90 days, and labor migrants. The document is published on the official portal legal information.
The authorized employees of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will take photographs of foreign citizens and take fingerprints. In a number of subjects, this will be done by a state unitary enterprise subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“Foreign citizens are subject to fingerprinting registration and photographing once, with the exception of persons: documents not presented, confirming the passage of mandatory fingerprinting registration and photographing”, – specified in the document. Those who have not found information about whom in the system of the TsIADIS-Ministry of Internal Affairs will also go through these procedures more than once. In addition, this list includes those who have changed their personal data, got a tattoo, as well as people who have received scars. Those who have passed 10 years from the moment of the previous photograph will have to go through anew.
In November, it was reported that in accordance with the new law, virtually all foreign specialists who will conduct quarterly X-ray examinations and donate blood and urine for diseases, including leprosy, tuberculosis, syphilis and HIV / AIDS. In addition to the new requirements for the provision of fingerprints and biometric photographs within 30 days from the date in Russia, examinations of narcologists, psychiatrists and infectious disease specialists will be carried out.
