Hungarian aviation music has been around for 30 years
On the spot, visitors can learn about the heroic age of flying, the 66-year history of Malév, and get an insight into the everyday life of modern aviation, behind the scenes of Liszt Ferenc International Airport and Debrecen International Airport, the Aeropark-Aviation Cultural Center announced. with MTI.
The Aeropark Aviation Museum in Ferihegy opened its doors in 1991. The foundations of the exhibition site were laid in the second half of the 1970s by airport professionals, who made it clear that Malév would withdraw several aircraft, including Il-18s and Tu-134s, in the coming period. The flight attendant, which was created with the help of the Air Traffic and Airport Directorate and the Museum of Transport, was finally set up near Terminal 2, the announcement reads.
As they write, the Aviation Cultural Center has been operating and developing the Aeropark since 2013, which has already become one of the most visited museums in the country, receiving about 70,000 visitors a year. Currently, 13 aircraft present the history of Hungarian civil aviation from 1946 to the beginning of the 2000s. In addition, a number of special airport ground vehicles can be viewed and tested, from the huge fire truck to the tow truck to the forecourt in Zsiguli or Wartburg. Visitors can get a taste not only of the past, but also of the present, as the Aribus A320neo simulator gives pilots a taste of how pilots work on one of today’s most modern aircraft.

An average of 30,000 visitors can learn the secrets of Ferihegy every year, and the airport visit will be available at Debrecen International Airport from 2022 onwards – read the announcement.
