39 new infections and 5 more Omicron cases confirmed – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – Within one day, 39 other people who were dying in Liechtenstein tested positive for the corona virus. On Tuesday evening, 15 Covid-19 patients met in the hospital. A total of 40 infections with the new omicron variant have been confirmed so far.

Over the past seven days, an average of 37 new cases were reported each day. In the previous seven days, there was an average of 41 new cases every day.
270 people are currently actively infected with the coronavirus, 15 of whom confronted each other in the hospital as of Tuesday evening.
As can be seen from the statistics from the Office of Statistics, the cumulative number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is now 6021 laboratory-confirmed infections. Of these, 5,682 survived the infection. By Tuesday evening, 40 infections with the new omicron variant in Liechtenstein had been confirmed by means of sequencing in the laboratory. A total of 69 cases have so far occurred in connection with a laboratory-confirmed Covid 19 disease.
The 7-day incidence per 100,000 population has fallen to 666. The 7-day incidence corresponds to the 7-day average – the incidence is simply extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants for the purpose of international comparisons.
The projected 14-day incidence is 1406 cases. This means that in the last 14 days, 1406 people extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants tested positive.
