Orders are pouring in for the Toulouse eyewear manufacturer Dylan Dunal. 25 years old, the graduate designer presented last November his new collection called simply “Collection Seconde”. This minimalist name reflects the spirit of the vintage made in France brand. For the designer, his models are an industrial commitment to safeguard French craftsmanship.

“All my creations are drawn in Toulouse and designed by hand by a passionate team in Oyonnax. More than 50 manufacturing steps are necessary for the design of each glasses.” says Dylan Dunal.

He also wants a green ethic for the choice of subjects. “They are made from cellulose acetate for more comfort, alcohol polymerized cotton fiber. It was important for me to use materials that are environmentally friendly, biodegradable and hypoallergenic.” he specifies.

This second collection marks a breakthrough for the graduate of the Institut Supérieur d’Optique de Toulouse. It is made up of 3 new models in four different colors. “My new creations are sharper than the first. I integrated the two-tone and shiny strapping to the frames that contrast with the matted temples. This duality is the meeting between my past and the present” underlines Dylan Dunal.

The Toulouse eyewear continues to develop throughout France. More than 50 opticians now offer the Dylan Dunal brand.
