Sputnik, Green pass derogation extended for San Marino citizens
The exemption for San Marino citizens from the use of the green pass obtained by vaccinating an anti-Covid drug recognized by the European Union authorities has been extended until 28 February 2022. This was announced by the State Congress of the Republic of San Marino. On the Titan, in fact, almost all of the population that underwent prophylaxis received two doses of Sputnik for the primary cycle, while the boosters, being administered in recent weeks, continue with Pfizer. For now, therefore, San Marino citizens will be able to show their national green certificate, albeit in the form of an exemption. “A result – says the Foreign Secretary of San Marino Luca Beccari – achieved thanks to a close confrontation between the authorities of the two countries and the recognition of the important work carried out by the Republic’s health organization. A transition that overcomes the asymmetry that had arisen between the two different vaccination systems, on which however we continue to work since the first days of the year “. “The contract with the pharmaceutical company and with the Italian commissioner has been confirmed – declares Roberto Ciavatta, secretary of health -, there will be no decline in supplies. We continue to go the route of vaccination and booster doses adds in conclusion – with great determination. There will be no delay ”.
