Monday December 27, 2021, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., police officers of Seine-Maritime have carried out alcohol and drug testing on the departmental road 6015, in Rouen (Seine-Maritime), near the Flaubert bridge.
Six officers were present, and thus proceeded to check 39 vehicles and as many drivers, reports a judicial source. Among them, two people were arrested.
Cars impounded
The first arrest concerns a 33-year-old man living in Canteleu, tested positive for cannabis by the agents. The individual was also traveling in a vehicle lacking technical control. His driver’s license has been suspended. The second concerns a man aged 54, “under the influence of an alcoholic state”. This was checked at 0.46 mg per liter of exhaled air, or 0.92 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. He was also already under license suspension.
The cars of the two arrested individuals were impounded. Nine other reports were elsewhere dressed “for different types of offenses”. The police added that on the evening of December 31, checks will take place throughout the Seine-Maritime department.
