Rise Hrvatski Telekom, Hrvatska Poštanska Banka raises indices of Croatian stocks in low regular turnover
ZAGREB (Croatia), 28 December (SeeNews) – Zagreb Stock Exchange’s main stock indexes (ZSE) strengthened on Tuesday, supported by Hrvatski Telekom’s growth [ZSE:HT], creditor Hrvatska poštanska banka [ZSE:HPB] and ICT solution provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] in low regular turnover, stock market data showed.
The ZSE benchmark CROBEX with blue chips with 21 stocks closed at 2,059.25 points, up 0.56%.
The narrowest of ZSE’s two blue-chip indices, CROBEX10, which tracks the ten largest companies in terms of free trade, market capitalization and liquidity, rose 0.26% and ended at 1,252.76 points.
In regular trading, the most liquid stock on the stock exchange on Tuesday was Hrvatski Telekom with a turnover of HRK 977,000 (USD 147,000 / EUR 130,000). Its shares rose 0.27 percent to HRK 184.50.
Shares of Hrvatska poštanska banka increased by 5.19 percent and ended at HRK 710 with a turnover of HRK 489,000.
Shares of Ericsson Nikola Tesla strengthened 0.82% to HRK 1,840 with a turnover of HRK 385,000.
ZSE’s turnover reached HRK 14.9 million from HRK 5.4 million on Monday, triggered by two block deals – one, worth HRK 6.8 million, with shares in Atlantic Grupa’s consumer goods distributor [ZSE:ATGR], and the other, worth HRK 2.8 million, with shares in Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
