Salzburg – In memory of Sepp Forcher, a requiem with Archbishop Franz Lackner and Archabbot Korbinian Birnbacher will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, in Salzburg. The fair for the legendary presenter who died on December 19, shortly after his 91st birthday, will be broadcast live on ORF 2 from 2 p.m. Due to the current situation, only invited guests can take part in the Requiem on site, announced the ORF. For this reason, no information is given about the exact location.
Musically, the Requiem is designed by musicians who were often on the road with Sepp Forcher for the ORF series “Klingendes Österreich”. Forcher moderated this show for decades. “It is an honor for us to make music when he leaves”, the musical director Martin Kiesenhofer is quoted as saying. Franz Neger is the commentator on the broadcast, Thomas Bogensberger is responsible for the direction and Elisabeth Eisner is responsible for the editing. (APA)
