This is evidenced by the ACI Airport Health Accreditation certificate, which Prague Airport has once again received a high level of protection measures. These lead to greater safety for passengers flying through Prague. The certification appreciates that the standards correspond to international organizations operating in aviation.
“The airport has once again demonstrated its admirable efforts, providing a safe airport experience for all passengers, in line with the recommended health measures set out in the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery and ICAO guidelines,” writes Luis Felipe de Accreditation. Oliveira, CEO of ACI World.
Prague Airport defended the accreditation for another twelve months. The adopted measures have been in operation since the spring of 2019, and were introduced as one of the first in the Czech Republic.
“In order to obtain accreditation, it was necessary, for example, to provide information on all set measures and processes, including detailed records of all cleaning and disinfection, to compile an overview of changes in passenger handling, but also to share specific steps in protecting employees’ health. We have introduced our own sophisticated system for tracing and searching for contacts in the workplace. Therefore, I am extremely pleased that the set protection measures work, health risks for travel and thus eliminate flight safety, “said Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport.

The airport is also undergoing increased disinfection and cleaning of all busy areas, including passenger gates.
“We use various measures about the measures in place, including through airport reporting, which we repeat at regular intervals, but also through information signs throughout the airport as well as in places where they can create queues,” added Daniel Otta, customer service manager. experiences.
The ACI Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) is an official accreditation program that is open to all of the organization’s airports around the world. Obtaining accreditation then confirms that the airport is well prepared and that passengers can harvest and fly safely from these airports. At the same time, thanks to this credit, hygiene standards are set when traveling in the entire aviation industry, which aim to increase not only passenger satisfaction at an accredited airport and increase the demand for air travel.
Airports Council International (ACI) is a global trade association that brings together approximately 1960 airports in a total of 176 countries. Founded in 1991, its aim is to promote cooperation between members and other partners in the field of air transport.
