IRM places part of Belgium on yellow alert because of strong gusts
Today the weather will first be very cloudy everywhere with rain or drizzle. During the day, from the west, the weather will become changeable with some clearings, but also periods of rain or heavy showers. The weather will be mild with highs of 7 to 11 degrees.
The wind will initially blow moderately from the south to southwest, but will then become quite strong to strong from the southwest to west with gusts of up to 70 to 80 km / h and locally a little more. At sea, in the afternoon, the wind will become very strong or temporarily stormy with gusts of the order of 80 or 90 km / h. Part of the country was therefore placed on yellow alert by the MRI.
Tonight
Tonight and next night it will still be mostly cloudy with rain or showers. Later in the night the weather will become drier from the coast and some clearings could appear. The minima will be between 4 and 8 degrees.

On Wednesday, after some clearings still possible locally in the early morning, the weather will quickly become very cloudy to overcast and moderate rains will invade the country from the west. During the afternoon, the weather will become drier again from the coast. The maximums will be reached at the end of the day with values between 9 degrees in the east, and 14 degrees in the west.
