DTV will broadcast the new concert film of the Kodály Philharmonic on New Year’s Eve
Debrecen – The works in the film will offer not only a fun, vibrant start to the year, but also a meaningful musical experience.
In 2021, the audience successfully received a New Year’s concert film to replace the traditional year-end concert of the Kodály Philharmonic, in which popular music by the Kodály Choir and Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra was performed at the iconic venues of Debrecen.
Next year, on January 1, with a focus on safety, they will be releasing another one-hour concert film.
In addition to the Reformed Great Church in Debrecen, the Catholic Cathedral of St. Anne and the Synagogue on Pásti Street, the recently consecrated Greek Catholic wooden church in Józsa connects to the locations of the recordings.
The works performed not only offer the opportunity for fun, a dynamic start to the year, but also a rich quality music experience, and even new discoveries.
The uniqueness of the program is also enhanced by the stylistic diversity of well-known organ and special chamber works as well as vocal pieces.
The ensemble’s work will be published on Debrecen Television on January 1 at 4 pm and on the Facebook page of the Papageno internet classical music portal.
We look forward to seeing you in front of the TVs or even the laptops, in the hope that, despite this beautiful tradition, you can have the New Year’s concert in Debrecen live again as soon as possible.
With the participation of: organist Dániel Somogyi-Tóth, artists of the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Kodály Choir Debrecen Zoltán Kocsis-Holper.
