Several new features in the first stage
Portuguese handball team will participate in the European Championship in January.
The calls from André Sousa (Águas Santas), Tiago Sousa (Águas Santas), Daniel Vieira (Avanca), Vasco Costa (FC Gaia), Diogo Rêma (FC Porto) and João Gomes (Águas Santas) are the big news in the call for the contest National team, for the first stage of preparation for the 2022 European Championship, which will play in Hungary and Slovakia, between 13 and 30 January.
This Monday, the selection entered an internship, which will last until the 30th, in Rio Maior. The concentration will resume on the 2nd, with the “Heroes of the Sea” heading to Winterthur, Switzerland, to participate in the 49th Edition of the Yellow Cup Tournament, from January 7th to 9th, where they will face teams from Switzerland, Ukraine and Montenegro.
