cinq cuvées coups de cœur pour les fêtes
Domaine du Comte Armand – Pommard premier cru, Clos des Épeneaux 2019
Pommard – Côtes de Beaune
Le Figaro rating: 96/100
Price: 180 € (wine merchants)
The Clos des Épeneaux climate is one of the most important monopolies of the Côte de Beaune, with its 5 hectares, 23 ares and 8 centiares. With a rare delicacy, the creamy 2019, already harmonious despite its young age, seduces with its touch of mouth caressing like cashmere. Grandiose, refined, it blossoms in the mouth without exuberance but with the nobility of a well-bred aristocrat, on flavors of black cherry, praline, roasting. The finish ends with finesse, with spicy and even peppery notes. They prolong the olfaction, its toasted aromas, of aromatic herbs.

La Chablisienne – Château Grenouilles 2018
Chablis grand cru – Burgundy
Le Figaro rating: 94/100
Price: € 51.50
The domain of Château Grenouilles is superbly exposed to the south-west, facing the village of Chablis. 7.20 hectares in one piece out of the 9.40 hectares that represent the Frogs “climate”. This 2018 will have to wait a few years to be fully appreciated. For now, it releases smoky, mineral, lemony, white flower and wet pebble notes. Lots of delicacy on the palate, accompanied by light bitter nuances (citrus peel) which contribute to the sensation of freshness mixed with roundness, intensity, followed by a stretched, endless, slightly saline, salivating finish.

Chateau de Rayne Vigneau 2010
Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé – Bordeaux
Le Figaro rating: 94/100
Price: 43 €
Hyperactive in terms of wine tourism, this property and its 84-hectare vineyard in Bommes is multiplying its activities (flight overflights, blending sessions, tastings, one of which is perched on a bicentennial cedar, etc.). The color of the sweet sparkles like a gold ingot in the sun. The attack is frank, straight. Very tactile, the palate gives way to flavors of mango, apricot, citrus peels already felt on the nose. Acidity and sweetness intertwine harmoniously on the finish.

Chateau Siran 2018
Margaux, Bordeaux
Le Figaro rating: 93/100
Price: 33 €
Siran has everything a great vintage, and, if it was not classified in 1855, it would be because of the owners of the time: the Toulouse-Lautrecs refused to participate in the classification, considered too “Bonapartist”. Powerful, the muscles collected like those of a young feline ready to pounce, the 2018 soars with grace, ardor and precision. After a passage in a carafe, the black plum color with fuchsia reflections releases fresh, floral, creamy, opulent notes. Velvety, savory, very fruity, carried by fine and racy tannins, slightly woody, the margalais cru deploys finesse, freshness and minerality.

Crémant d’Alsace
Le Figaro rating: 89/100

Developed without added sugars or sulphites, this crémant, truer than nature, should create a sensation as an aperitif, in the company of shellfish and other seafood. A wine to drink throughout the year, thanks to its vigor, its rounded fruit. and in maturity. The freshness accompanies the wine until the finish, where it stretches, gently lemony, underlined by a very fine effervescence, notes of orange peel, saline, a pleasant acidity.
