Entries for the “Most Beautiful Books from Liechtenstein” competition can still be submitted until January 4, 2022. The focus of the jury is not on the content of the publication, but on the exemplary book.

The registration deadline for participation in the “Most Beautiful Books from Liechtenstein 2021” competition will be in a few days. Book designers can participate in book production institutions and companies. The registration can be done by designers, printers, bookbinders or publishers. At least one of the following partners must be active in Liechtenstein. Books published in 2021 are eligible for this year’s competition. Decisive for the assessment of the submitted titles are the idea and conception, the design (graphics, images, typesetting), the typography, the quality of the print, the quality of the cover, the materials used and the overall impression.

The national competition is also the elimination for Liechtenstein’s participation in the international competition “Most Beautiful Books from All Over the World” in Leipzig. All books which are rated “Excellent” by the jury will be submitted for judging and will be exhibited by the Stiftung Buchkunst at the book fairs in Leipzig and Frankfurt.

Finally, once again, an overview of the most important data: the most beautiful books of the year 2021 from Liechtenstein production will be selected by a jury of experts in January 2022. The registration deadline for the national competition is therefore on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
