BeBasket: basketball news in France and in Europe: Despite the ditch protests, the Fos match
In line with the anger of Édouard Choquet and Rémi Giuitta at a press conference in Limoges on Thursday, Fos-Provence tried to postpone the reception of AS Monaco scheduled for late afternoon in Marseille (5 p.m.). But nothing worked. Following the positive tests Jamar Diggs and Kevin McClain, the southern club does not have an inventory of new cases of Covid and fulfills the specifications of the LNB for the holding of a match: seven players and a coach.
In reality, they will probably only be six professionals able to face the Roca Team (with Peacock, uncertain, in addition on the scoresheet) but the LNB imposed the maintenance of the meeting. Consequently, the Monegasques took the bus this morning, direction Marseille.

Monaco did not follow Fos’ requests
Conversely, AS Monaco did not push for a match report. The calendar of the Principality club is already sufficiently busy, the team of Sasa Obradovic does not particularly need a reorganization of its schedule with nine matches already scheduled in January for example.
