AS Monaco planned to keep Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Author of a good start to the season which notably allowed him to join the France team, Aurélien Tchouaméni is starting to attract recruiters in Europe.
Moreover, some clubs are planning to try their luck this winter and an amount of 65 million euros is even already mentioned.
However, Paul Mitchell, an AS Monaco executive, explained in an interview with Tuttosport, that he does not sell his player.
“He’s already a great player despite his young age. But if we want to become a top club, we should not sell it. We are ambitious. We will assess the situation at the end of the season, but he is currently under contract with AS Monaco until 2024 and his value is that of a very high level player. In addition, everything is expensive here in Monaco. Let’s say that Aurélien Tchouaméni is as expensive as the Grand Casino… ”
Good news for Niko Kovac.
