Instead of Tatabánya, the Hungarian men’s handball team will play its preparation match in Szigetszentmiklós at the beginning of January, before the European Championship in Hungary. The change of location was necessary because the new multifunctional hall in Tatabánya will not be completed by the beginning of January.
The Hungarian team will play a training match with Belarus on January 6 from 6 pm and with Bahrain on the 8th from 6 pm in Szigetszentmiklós.
The co-host Hungarians in Group B of the European Championship will meet the Netherlands on January 13 from 8.30 pm, Portugal from 4 pm to 4 pm, and Iceland from 6 pm to 6 pm in the new Budapest Handball Arena. The first two places will reach the semi-finals.
