DIJON: Artzatis inaugurates a new form of artistic event for adolescents
The association offers to host adolescents for a week in artistic residency at the Camille Claudel room. Applications until January 28.
TO ALL YOUNG ARTISTS: TO LIVE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN DIJON
They are called Etienne, Caroline or Mélina. They are between 11 and 18 years old. As teenagers, they express their emotions, their discomfort, their joys, their dreams through painting and drawing. They do street art, figurative, realistic or abstract painting or even take an interest in manga. Some people consume their art on their own, for themselves, while others are already exhibiting among adults.
During the February 2022 school holidays, everyone will come together around their common passion to share a unique experience in Dijon.
For a week, these young talents will work in residence at the Salle Camille Claudel in Dijon to deepen their art. Thanks to the Art’Zatis * association, they will indeed live an intensive experience around painting and drawing.
The program is rich. They will participate in workshops allowing them to discover or deepen painting and drawing techniques. They also meet established Dijon artists such as Pascal Lazzarotti, watercolor artist Valérie Leprun, designer DièseArt or Magenta Art Peinture (artist name) for unique moments of sharing experiences and advice.
Finally, they will discover or rediscover the most emblematic places of Dijon artistic expression to learn and be inspired.
At the end of this intensive week, young talents will be able to submit their works to a jury of confirmed artists and exhibit them to the public in Dijon. For some, this will be a great first. For others, it will be the continuation of previous experiences. But for all of them, this public exhibition will be the conclusion of a unique week which will mark their adolescence as young artists and who knows, perhaps foreshadows the artistic talents of tomorrow.
Who says young people aren’t interested in art and culture? We are far from the image of young people glued to their consoles! To your brushes and pencils.
* The Art’Zatis association is a Dijon 1901 law association whose mission is to promote and democratize art, in particular for young audiences.
