András Csókay: Hungary has become a focal point from which Europe is evangelizing again
Our present century will or will not be Eucharistic, so it is the duty of every believing Christian to witness in all areas of life, including his work, as this is the only way to re-evangelize the European faith drifting to the edge of the ditch, said András Csókay, a neurosurgeon. , one of the twelve heralds of the 52nd Eucharistic Congress, speaks of the afterlife of a large-scale event in Budapest. According to the professor, Hungary set an example for Europe and the world with the congress and became a focal point from which Europe will re-evangelize like wildfire and, if necessary, affect the world.
On the occasion of the 52nd Eucharistic Congress, Cardinal Péter Erdő asked twelve prominent public figures to promote and publicize the event as heralds of the event. One of the messengers was Professor András Csókay, who was asked how challenging the request was, especially in light of the fact that the symbolic number twelve, which also refers to the apostles, also suggests that this mandate did not end with the end of the congress. The renowned neurosurgeon said it was a great challenge and a great responsibility for the request, because one takes the apostles for granted because of the number twelve, so “it was impossible to shout in the wilderness ”, during the processions, the Eucharist had to be witnessed in such a way that the word remained, not lost.
The living Christ, the reality of the Eucharist, had to be authentically testified because it is a great great nourishment of our soul, our body.
– said András Csókay, who remarked that it is not so hard to believe that in that little sanctuary there is the real body of Christ, because God, who creates the universe from nothing, the living world and man from inanimate matter,
why wouldn’t you be able to make it really there in that little living bread that we can take in, it becomes our body, and with that, it gives strength every day, every time.
Healing without faith requires courage
According to András Csókay, this presence of Christ is also reflected in his own field, healing, because, as he put it, we can be creative, impulsive,
if we can descend deep into our souls where we meet the truth. And truth also means scientific truth. Jesus Christ also saved science. Meeting him is a guarantee that creative, intuitive ideas will come from him that will serve as a cure.
The professor added that he had experienced countless times in his own life, in his medical practice, that in difficult situations, prayer always helps, always shows the way. According to him, prayer gives birth to creative thoughts, which can solve a difficult problem, and at other times give strength and determination.
so many times I feel great courage to heal without faith in Christ.
Hungary is the focal point
András Csókay emphasized that there is a repeatedly expressed idea that our present will or will not be Eucharistic, which is why it is the duty of every believing Christian to testify in all areas of life, including work.
in this way we can re-evangelize the European faith drifting to the edge of the ditch. With the congress, Hungary set an example for Europe and the world, it became a focal point from which Europe will re-evangelize like wildfire and, if necessary, affect the world.
As he pointed out, he sincerely believes in Father Pio’s prediction about Hungary, which
a cage from which a beautiful bird will fly out. This call must be complied with.
