Toulouse. Heracles: soon a market full of wind
And one more. At the end of the boulevards, near the Brienne canal, Place Héraclès, under its high plane trees, will be the location of the next open air food market decided by the town hall. Elected officials voted for a deliberation to this effect on December 10. This market should see the light of day in spring 2022, said Jean-Jacques Bolzan, deputy mayor in charge of “eating well” and markets.
“The challenge is to promote short circuits. It is important to open a door to producers and to create social links in the district”, underlined the elected official who recalled that the demand for the creation of the market emanated from the residents and neighborhood associations.
A dozen traders, dealers and local producers, should settle in Héraclès on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., a time slot, explained Jean-Jacques Bolzan, which corresponds better to today’s habits than that here in the morning.
