the vaccinodrome on hiatus for the Christmas holidays
Christmas obliges, the vaccine park of the island of Ramier is closing its doors December 25 to 27. As a reminder, the center, which is one of the largest in Europe, closed last October, during lull in vaccine demand.
However, the opening of the vaccine booster to all adults on November 27 was a game-changer. The reopening of the vaccinodrome was, therefore, more than necessary in the face of the explosion in demand for vaccines. Toulouse Métropole, supported by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Prefecture specified that Hall 8 will be open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. by appointment, starting December 9. Appointments are made on the platform Keldoc.
Childhood vaccination
Since Monday, December 20, 2021, the vaccination of children between 5 and 11 years old is now possible in Haute-Garonne. In a press release, the Prefecture has, in fact, announced that slots by appointment will be open for certain children. Only those “at risk of a severe form of Covid-19” or “living in the entourage of an immunocompromised person” are concerned, details the Prefecture.
This new offer therefore concerns vaccination centers distributed throughout the department. In Toulouse, it will be possible to have your child vaccinated at the Purpan University Hospital. The other towns concerned by this expansion are then Lespinasse, Villefranche-de-Lauragais and Montastruc-La-Conseillère.
