The Russian Ministry of Justice has expanded the register of unregistered foreign agent associations. Two LGBT organizations have been added to it, according to website departments.

The Ministry of Justice included the Krasnodar LGBT + Reverse group and the St. Petersburg LGBT Initiative Group “Coming Out” in the list of foreign agents.

“On December 24, 2021, in pursuance of the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation, the register of unregistered public associations is included in the register of unregistered public associations that operate without the right to acquire the right of a legal entity, the LGBT + Reverse initiative group and the Vyhod St. Petersburg LGBT initiative group” , – according to the statement of the Ministry of Justice.

On the website Reverse notes that the mission of the movement is to protect the rights and interests of representatives of the LGBT community, as well as to “overcome discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, popularize a healthy lifestyle, information and cultural activities, and promote the values ​​of democracy and human rights”.

The Exit Movement, formed in 2008, established “For the recognition by society of human dignity and equal rights for everyone and regardless of sexual orientation and / or gender identity.” Organization of free psychological, legal and other consultations.

Earlier, the Ministry of Justice of Russia included two Far Eastern LGBT groups in the register of media and non-profit organizations-foreign agents: the Lilith organization and the Mayak movement.
