“Within its budget, the city district of Prague 5 has traditionally contributed to a gift for children from the Center for Family and Child Services and the Charlotte Masaryk Children’s Home in Zbraslav, Prague,” said JUDr. Petr Lachnit, councilor for the social area of the Prague 5 district.
The Charlotte Masaryk Center for Family and Child Services and the Orphanage has a rented apartment in Prague 5 from Nádražní Street in Prague 5, designed for four children and used as a community (training) for children from this facility. The financial gift provided will be used to equip this training apartment.
“One of the pleasant concerns of the councilor for social affairs is the gift of the needy, children and seniors, especially before Christmas, but unfortunately the coronavirus epidemic in many cases makes it impossible to hand over and visit social facilities,” said Councilor Petr Lachnit. Charlotte Masaryk ‘s home was also visited by social facilities operated by the Center for Social and Nursing Assistance in Prague 5, namely the House with Nursing Service in Zubatého Street 10 and the House of Social Services in Neklance 15.
