The data of the ASL Toscana southeast today, highlighted 315 new cases of positive coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 more than yesterday in the province of Siena. They are overall 514 the new positive cases in the territory of the South East Tuscany ASL: 166 the cases found in the province of Arezzo e 88 those in the province of Grosseto; 10 cases extra Asl.

Of the 315 new cases registered in the province of Siena, 63 are under 18, 128 between 19 and 34 years, 50 between 35 and 49 years, 58 between 50 and 64 years, 11 between 65 and 79 years, 5 80 years or older.

This is the trend of the last week which has seen a total of 995 new cases of positivity (+228 compared to the previous weekly period) on the days from Saturday 18 to today, Friday 24 December:

The carried out tampons were 2.035 with a positive rate of15.47%.

Currently managing positives are 1,455 (+281) of which 1.391 at home – as they manifest mild that are not hospital care or are asymptomatic. The number of close quarantined contacts is 3,322.

Compared to yesterday in the province of Siena they have recovered 17 people, 56 in Arezzo and 18 in Grosseto; for a total of 91 in the southeast ASL).

In the last 24 they have been recorded 0 died in the province of Siena (NB the deaths data concern cases validated as death from Covid-19 by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and can refer to previous days, as reported in regional report published at this link), 0 in the province of Arezzo e 1 in that of Grosseto for a total of 1 in the territory of the southeast Tuscany ASL. Therefore, the total in the province of Siena’s onset of the pandemic is 383 victims (569 in Arezzo and 238 in Grosseto; for a total of 1.190 in the South East Tuscany ASL).
