The Medical College, which brings together as an order, doctors, dentists, pharmacists and psychotherapists, believes that a “broad consensus” is felt within the scientific community and the population in favor of compulsory vaccination.

This request is not feasible in the text of the law which will have to be voted on Friday, the medical order therefore asks the political authorities to impose it during the next adaptation of the law.

The Medical College is of the opinion that this vaccination obligation should not be sectoral but rather general. Health professionals, strongly affected by the pandemic, should not be stigmatized again.

Finally, as the Council of State has already done this Friday, concerning the latest measures announced, the Medical College confirmed that it must be imposed given the urgent threat looming and which suggests a possible explosion of new infections with the propagation of the Omicron variant.
