Greg Heuss, buyer of Pau: “I want us to be competitive with ASVEL and Monaco”
Greg Heuss, CEO of CSG, buyer of Elan Béarnais Pau, delivered in the columns of the Republic of the Pyrenees and wanted to be reassuring about the future of the club.
The American certifies that important announcements will be made in the following weeks. The team has seen a jersey sponsor in particular since the start of the season. “CSG seems to rely heavily on the sale of tokens from the end of February to replenish the cash”, writes the Béarn daily.
“I want to see us move to the next level of competition. I want us to be competitive with ASVEL and Monaco, not only on the pitch, but also in our youth program and in business in general. This club will have its hard core of talent who will return next year, we have a strong youth program. The increase in income will allow us to improve the club in general. We’ve always said that this first season was a year of transition. We are still learning about the culture, the history of the club, working with the staff etc. Now that we have a better understanding of what we have, we can implement the changes needed for next season.
Greg Heuss also said that former Elan player Takwa Pinero, who introduced the club to CSG, is working on recruiting and developing players.
