Campo di Marte and the whole District 2 have their Fontanello again. From this morning the fountain in Viale Manfredo Fanti, which was destroyed by flames on April 22, is active again. A fountain, also this, of the latest generation in internal instruments and equipped with separate taps to deliver still and sparkling water.

To inaugurate the fountain, among others, Alessia Bettini, deputy mayor and councilor for participation, common goods, active citizenship, maintenance and decoration of the Municipality of Florence, Michele Pierguidi, President of District 2, and Lorenzo Perra, President of Publiacqua.

A successful fountain is that of Campo di Marte which from July 2011 to April 2021 supplied over 8.7 million liters of water (equal to 5.8 million 1.5-liter plastic bottles, 204 tons of plastic and over 1,200 tons of CO2 saved).
