The meeting between Arnaud Journou, painter and designer from Caen, and Denis Agostini, director of the Open de tennis de Caen (Calvados), during the 2019 edition, had quickly smashed. This is how the latter decided to entrust the artist with the creation of the poster for the Open which closed on Friday, December 17, 2021. The 2020 edition at the Zénith could not take place for reasons sanitary facilities and collaboration with the Open had to be postponed to this new edition.

For several weeks, the Open 2021 by Journou poster was available on various media, in the media and on 420 panels in Caen and in the urban area.

“I very quickly imagined a poster which is similar to that of a film with the names of the characters but also a lot of movement and I diverted the tennis ball for the former O of the Open”, explains the artist from Caen, whose coast is soaring year after year.
