Third dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus: Belgium thirteenth in the world
What if the third dose saves us? It’s a question we often hear but we don’t know the answer. Belgium, it is thought, is one of the countries where we have been most invited to start the administration of this third dose. First for the most fragile people, that is to say those over 65 as well as people in poor health.
This Wednesday, in the figures of Sciensano stopped on December 21, we learn that 3,369,268 people had already taken their third dose in Belgium. That is 29% of the total population or 37% of people over the age of eighteen. We were at 2.1 million Flemings, a little over a million Walloons and 200,000 Brussels residents. That is, respectively, 28, 32% and 16% of their total population.
Figures, at the national level, impressive but which are not in the world top 10.
