Mourinho wants to snatch this kicker away from Salzburg – football
Red Bull Salzburg survived the group stage of the Champions League for the first time. Are the cops now losing a top performer?
With the 1-0 win over Seville, Austria’s series champions made the current jump to the last sixteen on the last “royal classes” matchday. Rasmus Kristensen, an absolute top performer in the Salzburg squad, was partly responsible for this. But now the Dane could leave the bull barn.
The 24-year-old’s strong performances have not gone unnoticed by star coach Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese should now have the right-back at the top of their wish-list, at least through “Il Tempo”. After the cancellation of Manchester United player Diogo Dalot, Kristensen is now AS Roma’s target transfer.
Farewell with an exit clause?
Also because the Dane is said to have stipulated an exit clause of ten million euros in his contract, which will run until 2025. The change could therefore take place in January.
Kristensen came to Mozart’s city from Ajax Amsterdam in 2019, and with his energetic style of play, he became a crowd favorite and top performer. So far Kristensen has played 92 games for Salzburg, scoring twelve goals and generating another 18 goals.
