The press conference on the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic in San Marino was held this morning (Thursday 16 December) in the San Marino State Hospital. Present were the Director General of the Institute for Social Security, Sergio Rabini and the head of the Covid Territorial and Tracking Group, Dr. Pierluigi Arcangeli. Rabini raised the alarm: “The contagion situation has surpassed all the negative records of the second wave, this should lead everyone to reflect. The ISS and in particular the Hospital can no longer make up for the containment of the pandemic emergency on its own. We have had more stringent measures for some time. When restrictive measures are taken – and this is never done lightly – it takes at least 3 weeks before the effects are seen. So any measures taken now will take effect in 2 to three weeks. In the meantime, the invitation I address to everyone is to respect the rules and continue with the vaccination “.
