Bolzano “on the road” – Volpi away in Linz and Vienna
Another important ICE Hockey League weekend for the HCB Alto Adige Alperia, which has already left for Austria for two difficult “on the road” games.
Friday 17 December, at 7.15 pm, the Volpi will be busy in the home of the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. It will be the third clash of the season between the two teams: both previous ones had gone to the red and white, who on 1 October had won 4 to 3 at Linz AG Eisarena thanks to Miceli’s overtime goal, while on 21 November they passed with a 3 to 1 at the Palaonda. The Black Wings, current bottom of the championship, come from five consecutive defeats, seven in their last eight games. To condemn the Austrians at the moment are: 55 goals scored, worst attack in the league, 91 conceded, second worst defense, and at the bottom of the ranking also in the special teams (11.1% powerplay, 73.2% penalty kill). But be careful, because the only recent victory came as a surprise against the now former leaders Ljubljana. The troop of coach Raimo Summanen is therefore looking for a surge of pride and wants to appear well within the walls of their home. The match will be broadcast live on VB33.
On Sunday 19 December, at 16:00, Bolzano will move to the Austrian capital for the match against spusu Vienna Capitals. In the last two weeks, South Tyroleans and Viennese have crossed the sticks twice at the Palaonda, with one victory each (1-2 Vienna and 7-4 Bolzano). Two teams that therefore know each other well, with the Foxes returning to the Steffl Arena 254 days after the last time, when Miceli sent the red and white to the final with his goal in the first overtime of game 6. The match will be broadcast live on VB33.

Coach Greg Ireland, who in recent days has been able to play his first at the head of the team, will be able to count on all the elements on the roster, with the exception of Simon the 24-year-old forward is struggling with problems that could keep him out for a long time.
The presale for the derby against Val Pusteria is underway
