The Dijon staff continues to build the professional group for next season, in order to build on the current good momentum. After the extension of Rosario Urban until 2024, it is the turn of the French international Claire Vautier to extend her contract for two more seasons at JDA Dijon.
Arriving in 2020 in Christophe Mazel’s group, from Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, where she had been voted best player in the second division, Claire quickly established herself as one of the major elements of the workforce. Current top scorer for JDA Dijon in the Butagaz Energie League (33 goals in 9 games) and with 3 caps with the France A team, Claire continues to progress at the Dijon sports hall for 2 additional seasons. The 22-year-old left-back is now linked to JDA Dijon until 2024.
Christophe Mazel’s reaction:
“Despite many requests, Claire finally chose to stay in Dijon for two more years. We can only congratulate ourselves on this decision: its progress over the past 2 years, as well as its potential make it an essential element of the Club’s project. The JDA continues to move forward… ”
